That’s unexpected. It does feel right up Yoko Taro’s alley, but does he have experience doing this for anime? I feel like there’d be quite a difference between games and anime in that regard
I would say he had at least dipped his toes into anime with the Nier Automata anime.

Exciting to see Yoko Taro is leading. He hasn’t let me down yet.
Also interesting to see Okabe as composer.
Yoko Taro alone is enough for me to get giddy about this. Add Okabe to the mix, and you get magic.
Sequel or remake? Because I’m not sure either could work. Mildly curious though
